Geographically speaking, the surface of a filled-in port basin is on its way to becoming one of Bremen’s most “outstanding” sites: The 31.5 hectares between the wood port basin and the Weser will literally be shaped anew from the ground up. Visually sophisticated buildings will accommodate high-quality services as well as culture providers and restaurants — taking best advantage of the waterside location to create a special atmosphere in the midst of historical port architecture.
