The „KaffeeQuartier\" is located at Lloydstreet 4, close to the city at the entrance of the Überseestadt. Already now, the KaffeeQuartier is provided with excellent transport connections. From summer 2006 the street Am Wall will be prolonged as a four-lane alley that links the centre of Bremen directly with the Überseestadt. |

| A change of use for the „Speicher I“ | |

With the new usage of the „Speicher I“, a historical port warehouse, Bremen’s long hanseatic tradition of trade and ongoing change is carried into the future. Standing here, you’ll feel the maritime character that lies at the heart of the city. Being located very closely to the Europahafen, the specific architecture of the Speicher 1 offers a wide range of possible usages. Arts and culture, trade and services: on six stories with rooms up to 4 m high, the 226 m long and 30 m wide building boasts an impressive transparency, openness and communication as a basis for all kinds of activities. A new fassade will bring lots of light into the building. In combination with modern in-house-technology, this marks the change of the Speicher 1: from a traditional warehouse to a modern, multifunctional building with light-flooded lofts.
